Glove Port Assembly The purpose of a glove box is to safely contain, whilst allowing access to, radioactive, pyrophoric or toxic materials. Gauntlet style gloves are incorporated into the box to form a gas tight environment whilst allowing maximum maneuverability of artifacts. |

The glove port assembly is made up of four main parts, the Glove Port, the Inner Securing Ring, and two Gaskets. There are eight securing screws for this unit. The Glove port has a bore of six inches and will fit in various thickness of wall depending upon the length of the screws used.
