EMS continues its rapid expansion of its UK based design and manufacturing facility based in Poole in Dorset, where we design and develop bespoke drive solutions for our customers.

With a 50% growth in the last 6 years EMS now occupy 3000m². To keep pace with the production demands of our customers an even greater expansion in our CNC capability was realised resulting in 24 CNC machine tools and a suite of 40+ Mikron gear cutting machines.

Further investments in 2015 comprise a 5th axis machining table, a mini press with statistical process control to complement our Schmidt CNC servo press, a new 3D printer with larger bed and most recently a Faro Arm portable CMM. The handheld portable 3D laser scanner will support the growing demands on our quality department and provide a quick and effective way to inspect components and reverse engineer complex parts and surfaces.

In addition we have expanded our design team to deal with the increase in bespoke design projects and to provide the necessary production support to the factory and are now in the strongest position ever to deal with your new application.

If you are struggling to resolve a complex drive requirement in your application then we would be happy to help.
