Mingardi window actuator systems

AC rod actuators 

Rod actuators use hollow rotor motors for an aesthetically pleasing in-line design. They consist of a piston attached to a rod, which moves back and forth to produce linear motion. With integrated limit switches for end position control and slow turning direct drive motors, ensuring a quiet, smooth and reliable operation.

Mingardi rod actuators provide high force output and precise movement control, making them suitable for applications that require accurate positioning such as hydraulic systems and robotic arms.

Rack actuators 

Rack actuators deliver great diversity with a stroke length that can be increased up to 1.0 metre without any change to the basic motor construction. Rack actuators are renowned for the ability to direct movement of a moving cylinder into an exact revolving movement of a drive shaft — making them ideal for the opening and closing of valves and dampers.

In addition, they can be mechanically linked by a connecting rod that facilitates the ability to push the same load from two individual points some distance apart, while maintaining perfect synchronicity thanks to the single motor drive.

Chain drives 

Chain drive actuators provide a unique benefit of very limited dimensions and relatively long stroke lengths. The system transfers energy from one component to another using a chain made up of connected links. Chain drives are commonly used in bicycles, motorcycles and industrial machinery to transmit power between rotating shafts. They are more efficient and require less maintenance compared to other types of drives, such as belt or gear drives.

The self-supporting chain is coiled and stored within discreet aluminium extruded housing, making them perfect for those more visible building automation installations.
