SolidWorks Design at EMS | CAD/CAM

Our in-house design team have 5 SolidWorks seats giving EMS a strong platform for bespoke design of actuation systems and drive solutions. Our experienced engineers afford us a high degree of flexibility and reactiveness to the new demands of our customers.

EMS Solidworks DesignIntegrated CAD/CAM ensures that our engineers can use the system both for designing a product and for controlling manufacturing processes. The CAD is the use of computer technology for design and design documentation. CAM applications are used to both design a product and program manufacturing processes, specifically, CNC machining. CAM software uses the models and assemblies created in CAD software to generate tool paths that drive the machines thereby bringing finished results off the machines that much faster.

With every aspect of design and manufacture controlled in one location we are able to realise development projects that much faster thereby bringing products to market faster and more cost effectively.
