EMS supplies a huge range of small to medium sized DC motors to meet the needs of a variety of applications. Sizes start from the incredibly small 1.9mm diameter motor and planetary gearhead, up to 80mm and over 200 Watts, making these motors suitable for applications such as medical devices, aerospace, control and instrumentation. Thanks to partnerships with several of the world’s leading drive system suppliers, we can offer customers a range of high performance, brushed and brushless DC motor products, as well as several other motor and drive products to provide a complete offering.

Actuation systems

EMS also provides a comprehensive range of electric linear actuator solutions and telescopic columns. We have provided actuation systems to the UK market for over 20 years and have a vast experience in specifying and supplying the right product for your application. As a specialist distributor of Ewellix linear actuation solutions (formerly known as SKF Linear Actuation), we’re able to offer a product range comprising of both actuators and telescopic columns suitable for use with power supplies ranging from 12/24V DC through to 120/230/380V AC.

As the perfect complement to our small DC motors, EMS supplies a wide range of products that employ high precision bearings to help customers develop complete motion systems. We offer precision bearings from Micro Precision System AG (MPS), including ball screws and linear point bearings.
