EMS to spotlight motion control systems at Machine Building Live
Micro drive system supplier Electro Mechanical Systems (EMS) is returning to Machine Building Live at the National Agricultural Exhibition Centre, Coventry, on 15 October, 2025 to showcase the latest motion solutions from FAULHABER. This includes the new 1218 SXR and 1228 SXR DC motors and 22 and 32GPT HT gearheads. Representing EMS at stand 208 will be two of EMS’s Area Sales Managers who can offer technical advice and project support for a range of applications.
Machine Building Live attracts the largest array of machine building, systems integration and factory automation technical experts under one roof. This year, EMS will exhibit motion drive solutions that optimise high power, compact machine designs.
Among the key products to be presented will be the new SXR DC motor family — including the 1218 SXR and 1228 SXR models — that deliver higher power, efficiency and flexibility for demanding miniature drive applications. Featuring a hexagonal coil design, improved magnet materials and optimised rotor balancing, these DC micro motors provide smoother performance and better thermal stability.
The SXR series is also fully compatible with FAULHABER’s gearheads, making it ideal for precision fields like medical technology, automation and metrology.
In addition, FAULHABER’s new 22GPT HT and 32GPT HT gearhead models will also be on display. Combining refined geometries with a robust stainless-steel housing, the gearheads deliver maximum torque, smoother dynamics and exceptional durability. Their strong construction ensures high radial and axial load capacity, enabling reliable, long-lasting performance even under harsh conditions, sudden load changes or emergency stops.
“Machine builders are looking for motion solutions that deliver exceptional performance, without taking up valuable space,” said Dave Walsha, sales and marketing director at EMS. “As machines become smaller, micro drive technologies like those from FAULHABER sit at the heart of this progress.
“Events like Machine Building Live serve as a reminder that every great machine starts with great collaboration between engineers, component suppliers and system designers. It’s also an opportunity for us to demonstrate our extensive capabilities in custom drive system design and the latest developments in advanced drive systems.”
